Overview
The Dan Perichino Cancer Fund is a brand established to rally around, to support an ongoing battle, and to come together as a community. The non-profit needed a brand identity to establish trust, generate awareness, and increase fundraising.
Challenge
The brand needed to be instantly understandable to those unfamiliar with the cause (leaning on the official purple color of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma awareness and the ribbon visual), while also being engaging and memorable for those already supporting the fund.
Goal
Develop a brand that would promote positivity and optimism while dealing with a serious subject. We needed an identity, messaging, products, and a web experience that would communicate what Dan was going through, while also maintaining a positive tone.
Results
The outpouring of support from Dan’s friends and family was overwhelming while developing the branding, materials, and events relating to the fund. With their help, the identity and supporting brand materials became something that Dan and the community were able to rally around throughout his battle and successful recovery.
