Overview
Necessities for Children is a non-profit providing STEM education computer skills training to underserved and low-income youth. I partnered with them to craft a fun, memorable brand that captures a special moment that happens so often when volunteering with children - a smile.
Challenge
The non-profit's existing branding wasn't resonating as strongly as they would have liked with the volunteers or the children they help. To uncover the brand's unique positioning and the best path forward, I led a two day brand strategy workshop with the founder.
Goal
Establish a memorable brand that resonates with users, create an actionable brand strategy, and develop guidelines for all copy and creative moving forward.
Results
From brand identity, to copywriting, to deck design - Necessities for Children's new brand system gives them all the tools they need to expand their operations, prioritize the most important opportunities, and maintain consistency while working with their various vendors.
